[Q&A] Filament Stick On K5 Plus

Notice:Please slice with MakerPi Cura,and sure the filament is PLA.
Please turn on the printer and return to zero,check if the fan of E motor can work or not,if it canwork,please share a video to our aftersales support.
If the fan cant work normally,please tell us,we will give you a new fan for repairement.
Specific operation:
“Prepare”“Auto Home”,check if the cooling fan work normally.
If you find the cooling fan of E motor can’t work(left fan works normally),Please do the following steps(With the power off!
1.Eliminate filament stuck caused by cooling fan of e motor.
1.1. Take off the screws on the motor case.
1.2. Take off the motor case,disassemble the connect plate of E motor
1.3. Exchange the fan terminal of E motor (the white terminal is the cooling fan of e motor).
1.4.After replacing the two terminals, reinstall the E motor cover (Do not tighten the fixing screws!)
1.5. Power on the printer,click “Prepare” and “Auto home”,check if the cooling fan can work normally or not.
2.If it can’t work normally,then we know the fan is broken,need change a new cooling fan of E motor.
2.1.Unplug the cooling fan terminal of e motor.
2.2.Use an Allen wrench and an open-ended wrench to remove the e motor fan.
2.3. Replace the new fan. Then connect the fan terminal back to the adapter plate, and install the E motor cover back to the printer.
3.0. If the fan still can’t work, consider replacing the E motor adapter plate.
3.1Remove the E motor adapter plate, and unplug all terminals on the adapter plate.
3.2.Replace the new adapter board and connect all terminals.
3.3. Replace the adapter plate and E motor cover in the order of removal, and turn on the printer to check whether the cooling fan of E motor works normally.
4.All the above operations can be photographed or recorded as appropriate. Please contact after-sales support if you don't understand or have any questions about the above operations.
