Problem of printing on M1 printer

Hello,
I'v got a problem with the printer M1, when I try to print, it starts to print way too high (around 2mm too high).
As a result, the filament is not on the bed and it just continue to extrude in the air.
I have the last firmware (Release date：2020-12-28 09:48:56), i tested it with cura provided and a the new version with information provided.
I also tested via SDcard and via usb.
Any solution?

I unboxed mine today and after the short setup, I am getting the same thing. Differentce is that mine is about 5mm+ above the bed and tries to print. Not working and no way to fix this so far..
UPDATE - I figured it out. You cannot use any other version of Cura than what is supplied with the printer on the SD Card. Printer runs like it is designed to using the included version of Cura.

I re-installed the MakerPI Cura and you are right, it works!
That's a bit a shame, because I've got 3 printers and I definitly prefer to use only one Cura but...

Hi
With the setting for other Cura versions from the manual
you simply have to set the Z to 1.6 in the 2nd line in the start G-Code
then it should work, at least that's how it is for me.

You can just try out a bit with the number after the point up or down
That's my attitude

G28; Home
G1 Z1.6 F6000; Move the platform down 3 mm
; Prime the extruder
G92 Z0 E0

G1 F200 E3
G92 I0

You can use the newer Cura with the M1. It just needs to be configured a bit.
There are a few posts that deal with the issue.
