Title: Reboot/Restart when connecting by USB to Raspberry Pi or PC on P3 Pro [Print This Page] Author: Maranthalas Time: 2022-10-22 22:48 Title: Reboot/Restart when connecting by USB to Raspberry Pi or PC on P3 Pro As soon as I connect my P3 by USB to Raspberry Pi or to my PC, directly or by hub, it will enter a reboot/restart cycle. I would guess it has somethimg to do witth the usb current on the usb connection. So it is not possible to connect to the printer. On Pronterface under windows 11 I only get "connection refused", Repetier server on the Raspberry Pi is not able to connect at all.
Any suggestions? Author: Maranthalas Time: 2022-10-23 18:32
Tried different cables, raspberry pies and PCs, as well with and without a powered usb hub, under pronterface, octoprint and repetier server. As well with and without a covered 5v + pin on the usb cables.
Slightly different results from going into a restart cycle at once, to once in a while to connecting, and then restarting. It gets to recognizing the printer, to sending data and then restarting after the printer not responding. Very frustrating.Author: herz08 Time: 2022-10-23 20:37
